One of Tabby’s most popular mobile features is the ability to snap photos of receipts on the go and have them automatically processed and matched to transactions.
How to Capture Receipts:
- Open the Tabby mobile app.
- Tap the camera icon or go to Receipts > Add Receipt.
- Point your camera at the receipt and tap the capture button.
- Tabby’s AI will extract the date, amount, merchant, and other details automatically.
- Review and confirm the details, then save.
Tips for Best Results:
- Make sure the receipt is flat and well-lit.
- Capture the entire receipt, including the top and bottom.
- Avoid shadows or glare that might obscure text.
Once saved, Tabby will attempt to match the receipt to an existing transaction. If no match is found, it will create a new transaction entry for you.
